Celebrate Sedgefield Awards NOMINATION FORM

To be held on Friday, 8th November 2024 at the Red Roof Lapa at Scarab Village.

Do you know someone who makes our town shine?

The Sedgefield Ratepayers & Residents Association (SR&RA) is proud to announce the 2024 Celebrate Sedgefield Awards! This program, initiated by Dr Andy Brough, recognises the outstanding efforts of individuals, businesses, and organisations that make Sedgefield a thriving and beloved destination in the Garden Route. Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for our community? We are looking for nominations in the following categories:

● Business Award: Recognises businesses that promote and care for Sedgefield, aligning with the Garden Route's environmental ethos.

● Tourism & Environmental Award: Honours those who make Sedgefield a top choice for visitors while upholding the environmental spirit and culture of the Garden Route.

● Charity & Community Award: Celebrates those who excel in serving Sedgefield's needs and embracing the community's social and environmental spirit.

● Education Award: Acknowledges those who shine in education and youth development in Sedgefield, demonstrating achievements in social and environmental goals.

● Personal Service Award: Appreciates individuals who exceed expectations and reflect the social and environmental aspirations of the Garden Route.

● Arts & Culture Award: Honours individuals or organisations dedicated to preserving Sedgefield's rich culture and heritage.

Remember, only one vote per person per category. Nominations can also be submitted by dropping off completed forms at Deo Gratia (Pick 'n Pay Centre) or REMAX Lakes or by emailing the SR&RA - sedgefield.ratepayers@gmail.com

Each category will be featured with a dedicated nomination period.
Together, let's celebrate the incredible people and businesses that make Sedgefield a special place!

The SR&RA strives to:

● Represent and promote the interests of all Ratepayers and Residents

● Influence the decisions of the Municipal Council and its officials

● Foster unity and cooperation amongst ratepayers and residents

● Ensure a high level of municipal services by advocating for competent and reliable officials

● Encourage residents to be actively involved in community service delivery issues

The Celebrate Sedgefield Awards program is a way to acknowledge and reward those who embody this very spirit. It is a chance to shine a light on the individuals, businesses, and organisations that make Sedgefield such a special place to live, visit and work.
