The Culture award is presented to an individual / organisation who has dedicated time, energy, and resources to preserving Sedgefield’s rich culture and heritage. The Art or Craft nominee is recognised locally, develop local talent, and contribute to the growth of culture in Sedgefield, including sustaining the Garden Route environmental ethos.

Since its inception more than 10 years ago, the show has brought incredible joy to our town.
Thanks to the “star quality” of all involved, this amazing production, is the largest single annual fundraiser in Sedgefield. Thanks to Margie and Ian’s leadership the production goes from strength to strength. |

Rita is a renowned impressionistic and abstract artist who started embracing her own style from 2010. Rita does wildlife art for a company that prints the art on handmade ‘elephant dung paper,’ for local and worldwide distribution to game reserves and curio shops.
Her art is found abundantly in homes throughout South Africa, as well as USA, UK, Germany, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. |
